Information about the different leagues offered at the Club.

“Loonie Monday” Disc Draw

Tuesday Singles League
Starts: May 27, 2008. Entry Deadline: May 23, 2008.
Entry fee: $10
Wednesday Pairs League
Starts: May 28, 2008. Entry Deadline: May 23, 2008.
Entry fee: $10
Corporate Challenge League
Starts: Thursday, May 22, 2008. Entry Deadline: Join any time..
Entry fee: $10 for members. $65 for non-members.

Jitneys & Disc Draws

Jitneys
A Jitney is a term the club uses to describe ad-hoc games. In a jitney teams are decided during the start, usually by drawing names. The number of teams and the number of players per team is decided by the number of people who attend.
Disc Draw
Each member has a disc made that is posted on a board in the club. During a disc draw game these discs are taken down and given to the draw master who will randomly draw discs to make up the teams. The draw master posts the teams on the green board to signify which teams are playing each other and on which rink they are playing.
